So I was just watching a dating show, NEXT on MTV. The premise of the show is one guy or gal is the feature and then there are 5 people on a bus and you have a choice of saying NEXT or keeping that person. Then the person you keep can either get $1 for every minute they spend with you or take a second date with you. It is somewhat entertaining as the girls are always very hot and usually promiscuous and would probably would be fun to be on, however every line spoken on the show is so clearly fed/rehearsed that it irritates me. Dating shows should at least have some semblance of reality. What happened to the old school dating shows like blind date with roger lodge, elimidate, 5th wheel, the classics. or even the vh1 celebreality shows seem more real, Flavor of love, i love new york, shot at love with tila tequila, rock of love etc...i like the language to appear to be real. there are enough hot girls and they say enough entertaining things you mtv, you don't have to feed them lines! maybe give them some lines to snort to make it more entertaining, that i have no problem with - then the show will become a new show called ORGY but so what? It's be entertaining and you can charge per view!
